Individual and Small Group Pottery Classes 

  • Beginners and Intermediate pottery lessons

  • All experience levels welcome

  • Learn to throw on the wheel!

  • Ages 12+

  • Groups of minors must be accompanied by an adult

  • Tuesday evenings and Saturday Mornings, 2 hour sessions

Instruction includes:

  • Basic pottery studio safety 

  • Learning to center

  • Opening vessels

  • Throwing basic forms - bowls and cylinders

  • Trimming

  • Slip and scoring; attaching handles

  • Surface design (sgraffito, underglaze transfers, overglaze transfers)

  • Glazing

  • Materials including clay, glaze, and firing

  • Strongly encouraged to book 3 sessions, allowing for throwing/creation, trimming, and glazing

Small group instruction fees:

  • Up to 4 students at a time

  • $125 for 2 hour session, $30 for each additional person

  • All supplies included
